E-go Max+ like it’s partner e-go Max is a larger version of its 2 children Lite and Lite+. What makes this bike different from the Max is its huge 4.25” fat tyres, great on sand, loose surfaces, a really contemporary design, very popular with the younger generation.

Again, as with all e-go bikes it has the great quality and finish you’ve come to expect of this great brand with the same riding modes, colours and standard accessories as the rest of the family and the 14Ah Samsung/LG battery to power it and 7 speed Shimano gears, this bike is as much at home on the beach or the street.

As with the whole range this bike is foldable and has the innovative seat post battery enabling you to charge it in situ or removed to charge in your home/workplace. Disc brakes front and rear means you can stop this bike quickly and safely. Fully adjustable seat post and handlebar stem making this bike available to a huge range of riders.

What is the weight limit?

Lite foldable bike -100kg, Lite + folding electric bike -110kg.  

For both the Max and Max+ foldable electric bikes it is 150kg.

Do I need to be physically fit or a keen cyclist?

Not at all, that is the beauty of these folding electric bikes! The electric assistance can be used to fall back on if you’re not confident or gradually used less to build up your fitness.

What is the current UK law regarding electric bikes?

The law allows you to use these folding electric bikes as you would a non-motorised cycle, as long as the motor is no bigger than 250w and the top speed does not exceed 25kph. Beware of any bike that exceed these limits as they would be treated as a Moped/Scooter.

Are E-go bikes waterproof?

Yes, they have an IP54 rating.

Do I need a driving licence to ride an e-bike on the road?

If you’re over 14 in England, Scotland and Wales, you are legally allowed to ride an electric bike on the road without a licence. You will not have to pay any form of tax and personal insurance is optional.

Warranty

A 12-month warranty is included with all E-go electric bikes.

What Parts Are Covered?

Parts that are covered by the manufacturer's warranty include the frame, forks, seat, motor, controller, battery and charger.

Please be aware that your warranty is only valid subject to correct care, maintenance, and the reasonable use of your e-bike.

Warranty Exceptions  

• Items like tyres, inner tubes, chains, chain wheels, sprockets, brake pads, bearings, spokes, handlebar grips or cables are consumables. These parts can be replaced for a fee but are not part of our manufacturer's warranty policies.
• Any aesthetic damage such as corrosion, paint cracks, chips, and water damage.
•  The results of fatigue and any damage, failure or loss caused by accident, misuse, abuse or theft.
• Failure or damage due to poor care, maintenance or modification.
• Incorrectly following product manual guidelines.
• Damage resulting from extreme use.
• Your warranty will be rejected if there is evidence of an attempt to open the battery case.
