What is the weight limit?
Lite foldable bike -100kg, Lite + folding electric bike -110kg.
For both the Max and Max+ foldable electric bikes it is 150kg.
Do I need to be physically fit or a keen cyclist?
Not at all, that is the beauty of these folding electric bikes! The electric assistance can be used to fall back on if you’re not confident or gradually used less to build up your fitness.
What is the current UK law regarding electric bikes?
The law allows you to use these folding electric bikes as you would a non-motorised cycle, as long as the motor is no bigger than 250w and the top speed does not exceed 25kph. Beware of any bike that exceed these limits as they would be treated as a Moped/Scooter.
Are E-go bikes waterproof?
Yes, they have an IP54 rating.
Do I need a driving licence to ride an e-bike on the road?
If you’re over 14 in England, Scotland and Wales, you are legally allowed to ride an electric bike on the road without a licence. You will not have to pay any form of tax and personal insurance is optional.
A 12-month warranty is included with all E-go electric bikes.
What Parts Are Covered?
Parts that are covered by the manufacturer's warranty include the frame, forks, seat, motor, controller, battery and charger.
Please be aware that your warranty is only valid subject to correct care, maintenance, and the reasonable use of your e-bike.

Your card will be charged once the order has been placed. If you would like to pre-order an item we will charge your card to reserve your order.
Deliveries are made Monday to Saturday. You will receive a shipping confirmation email the next working day which will contain your tracking information.

Damages
We strongly advise that you inspect all items upon delivery and decline the delivery if your item is damaged. If your item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items to info@esenelectric.com. Once we have received clear evidence, we will start a claim on your behalf.
Order Cancellations
If you would like to cancel your order please call or email as soon as possible. Please ensure that your order number and contact information are clearly stated. Cancellations after 24 hours may be subject to additional fees as your order may have already been shipped.
Returns
Esen Electric offers a 14 - day returns policy on all products. Products must be returned in the same condition with all original packaging and parts. Any signs of wear and use may result in your refund being declined. Collection of your order is free of charge within the 14 - day period.

Refunds
Please note that we can only validate refunds within the 14 - day return period, and on the original payment method used to buy your item. Your refund may take up to 21 working days to reach your account. You will be notified by us when the refund has been completed. You can ride an electric bike if you’re 14 or over, as long as it meets certain requirements.
These electric bikes are known as ‘electrically assisted pedal cycles’ (EAPCs). You do not need a licence to ride one and it does not need to be registered, taxed or insured.
An EAPC must have pedals that can be used to propel it.

An EAPC can have more than 2 wheels (for example, a tricycle).
If a bike meets the EAPC requirements it’s classed as a normal pedal bike. This means you can ride it on cycle paths and anywhere else pedal bikes are allowed.
Any electric bike that does not meet the EAPC rules is classed as a motorcycle or moped and needs to be registered and taxed. You’ll need a driving licence to ride one and you must wear a crash helmet.
